Facilities at Rawlins include a spring-fed swimming pool, grass tennis court, croquet, boules and great walks. Island activities that are easily arranged include island tours, kayaking,scenic island rail trips, scuba, rain forest hikes, ferry trips to Nevis, catamaran trips, car rentals, air charters, massage and beauty treatments, golf and sightseeing.

Distances:
Rawlins in one mile from the sea, two miles from the nearest beach (small and dark sand) and 16 miles from the better beaches. 14 miles from the airport and from the capital, Basseterre.

Flights:
American Airlines, USAir, Continental, Delta and TWA fly from the U.S. to San Juan, Puerto Rico. Connect to St.Kitts with American Eagle, Caribbean Sun or LIAT. USAir provide a non-stop service, on Saturdays, from Philadelphia to St.Kitts.

From London British Airways, Virgin and BWIA fly directly to Antigua, and connections can be made on LIAT, Caribbean Star or Winair. Canadian, European and US airlines also fly to Antigua and St.Maarten, and connections can be made with the above inter-island airlines. Excel airlines now flies directly from London on Saturdays.
